Snug Harbor Farm in Kennebunk, Maine, is part plant nursery, part gift shop—with a twist. I have never not bought something.
Yes, they, of course, have tons of plants (and fancy, floofy chickens!), but since I don’t live right around the corner, it’s the curation of small gifts in their shop that keeps me going back.
The biggest draw for me personally is that they support artists—think tiny bird paintings, papier-mâché animal heads, or even mini concrete baby-head planters—but they also have an ever-changing selection of fun, cool, and quirky items, too.
The last thing I’ll add is that their fall décor game is unmatched—we’re not talking just pumpkins, mums, and corn stalks —closer to October I’ve found raven statues, witches’ brooms, concrete gargoyles, and other curious things that make my inner weirdo squeal.
I hope you get to go, and if you do, let me know what you think!
