Eisenhower Priority Matrix for Managing Monthly Tasks

Recommended by Olga K.

The Eisenhower matrix is my go to method for prioritizing my monthly, weekly, and daily tasks. I especially love doing a monthly task list using this framework.

You create four segments. 1. Very Important/Urgent 2. Very Important/ Nor Urgent 3. Not Important/Urgent 4. Not Important/Not Urgent

“I'm a fan of this matrix, my only issue is that I easily convince myself that everything is IMPORTANT and URGENT.”

“I quad it out instead of writing to-do lists now. It's the only way my ADHD brain can attempt to prioritize properly. The key is to (eventually) spend 50% of your time in the not urgent, but important quadrant - and the remaining 50% of your time spread across the other three quadrants. When I first started this system, 80%+ of my list was in the urgent and important section due to procrastination”
