Paterson (2016)

A slow-moving film focused on an average man living, and appreciating, an average life over the course of a week. For those looking for the mood of Perfect Days (2023), Paterson fits very well. Sure, the poems (written by bus driver Paterson) are average, and the movie very slightly overcompensates on the literary, but that doesn't take away from its overall peaceful feeling bolstered by the loving relationship between Paterson and his wife, Laura.
