Turkish Vintage Herki Rug (1.8x8.9 ft)

Why would anyone buy a dupe Turkish rug from West Elm for twice the cost of a real one that has proven it's longevity? I'm a sucker for the authentic fading on a real Turkish rug as well...this one has the perfect fade IMO.
