Having a radio in your kitchen

Recommended by Nora

Yes to radios in the kitchen! Yes to NPR! I might have the same radio in this photo - and it's set to NPR/WNYC every morning.

This is a nostalgia moment for me because I grew up with NPR on at every hour, but I found an $8 radio at goodwill (that is the perfect matching blue to my nook!)! It sparks so much joy and I don’t have choice paralysis of what I should queue up next on the speakers. Shoutout Lakshmi Singh even when it’s bummer news hearing your sign off gives me peace 🫶
