these specific ones are Wirecutter's recommendation but you do need lots and lots of chopsticks for a hot pot night. they are essential for fishing pieces of meat or vegetables out of the pot. I recommend having more pairs than people in case someone drops one or one falls into the pot.

tbh, chopsticks are one of my most-used kitchen items. in addition to eating, I use them when cooking dumplings, to mix my coffee in in the morning, or to scarf down my instant ramen the way god intended.
