You can’t go wrong in Madrid. But here’s a perfect day: Museo Del Jamón in the early afternoon for a jamón croissant and a caña (or two!). Walk over to Parque Del retiro and explore. Find a shady spot to post up and flag someone down who’s selling wine out of a backpack. Make your way back to Museo Del Jamón to fuel up for your walk to La Coquette - it’s a bit of a trek, but walking is the move if you’re up for it. From there stop an any jamonería you pass on your way to Plaza De Oriente; let the cortador pick your meat for you, grab a beverage to go and enjoy in the plaza.
