The Art of Noise exhibit at the Cooper Hewitt is kind of like taking a walk through one of the Daft Punk guys' heads: retro-futurist turntables, Hi-Fi systems that belong in Logan’s Run, transistor radios with curved angles from 1972 that can be worn as bracelets. The graphic art is a pocket history of NYC music: concert posters for early hip-hop shows, Talking Heads in 1975, Fania All-Stars at Carnegie Hall, There’s also cool exhibit design touches from Teenage Engineering. It’s there through August.

“Great exhibit. There until August and highly recommend. Fun to go alone or also a cute date! They have some interactive parts that are fun.”
