What is something you thought everyone knew/had/did but found out it was actually hyper local? I recently found out that not everyone knows what a viaduct is… and a few years ago found out that they don’t have giardinera everywhere

When you go to most bars in Wisconsin, you’ll find pull-tabs, which are basically exactly what they sound like: a small sheet with tabs that you pull open to reveal if you won money or not. A very regional two second dopamine hit.
