Vintage sewing machine

I was wary of buying a new sewing machine that might glitch and crap out on me. Then I happened upon a vintage machine for less than $100 at a creative reuse shop and surprised myself and bought it on the spot. The "love you" label affixed to the top very likely had something to do with it — it felt like a little message from the universe. I love feeling connected to its original owner as I sew.

Vintage machines, esp full metal ones from before the mid-80’s, are super solid machines. You got SO lucky finding that one, what a steal!

Ahh, thank you!! I sometimes get jealous of what people can do with fancy new machines, but I love how simple and sturdy my Kenmore is. It’s just what I needed.
