I told myself last year that I really wanted to figure out how to care for plants, and I began gradually getting more and more plants. It’s such a peaceful hobby because it connects me to nature and I get the satisfaction of seeing my plants grow and thrive.

What a sense of gratification! What did you start off with? Any advice for the untrained?
Unfortunately, I don’t have the best track record with watering and maintaining plants. Thankfully many of my family members do, so I will have to get their input too.

Succulents are great to start with because they don’t need to be watered as often. They just need a nice sunny spot! I recommend putting plants in an area of your home where you’ll see them often and can monitor how they’re doing. It feels so good to see them grow under your care!
