The Book of Lost Friends

Loved this book and the way the story unfolded! I read a lot of historical fiction, but the years following the Civil War aren’t a period I’ve explored much, so I found this especially interesting. I loved how the chapters alternated between two timelines and how the stories slowly came together. Learning about the real “Lost Friends” advertisements that inspired the book made it even more fascinating. Such a moving story!
