Book a session with a hair stylists to learn how to blow dry

I never learned how to properly blow dry my hair, and I feel that it’s time. My hair is somewhere on the 2b-2c-3a spectrum and is currently upper-chest length with long layers. Any tools, products, or techniques to recommend? I’m interested in achieving a smoother blown out look as opposed to diffusing it for curls.
