Naoshima Island: Biking through this tiny island of museums and sculptures was an absolutely life-changing experience. The art is jaw-dropping, from Monet to Turrell to Kusama. We also had incredible food and the island itself is gorgeous.

Jazz Spot BOKUNEN /// Kanazawa: A jazz listening bar run by a husband and wife with no gimmicks.

Made a friend here. We talked about Stanley Jordan, Mahavishnu Orchestra, and Buddhism. Hope to see him again on my next trip.
