Disposable cameras (flash on!) for friends to take shots during the celebration

We hired a photographer for our wedding photos, the actual ceremony, and the group pix after the ceremony to make sure we’d covered the bases.

But! We also had a friend playing coordinator who passed out disposable cameras (half color and half black and white! and with a note to use the flash for every photo!) to friends before the ceremony began. They were instructed to take pix as they wished throughout the entire celebration. The photos from these are incredible: shots from down low from our nieces, selfies of our couple friends kissing, candids outside City Hall of us and BFFs signing our marriage license (pictured), drunky candids of friends playing bartender in the suite we booked to host our reception. Incredible.

Plus!!! Waiting a few weeks after our wedding to get the cameras all developed and reliving it all was incredible. It’s just so beautiful to see such a big moment through the eyes of the people you love.
