Finding the balance of which daily tasks to choose takes some iteration, but taking care of my little finch has built up new habits (dishes done each night, making my bed) and for timing the infrequent tasks (cleaning fridge) that I might otherwise forget to do! My partner and I use it to challenge ourselves and it’s been such a sweet, low pressure self improvement regimen.

“A completely silly but wonderful app that helps you take care of yourself by taking care of a birb (bird). Highly recommend”

“Gamifies self care, doesn’t use guilt, great for to do lists, arrangable by time, types of goals, customisable repeat timings etc.”

“A tamagotchi for people in therapy (or in need of therapy!) Be nice to yourself so your bird can buy nice things. You can send cheery daily support to your friends, or if your friends are sullen and/or uncool and/or don’t have the app your bird will send you encouraging tweets! (See what I did there) They recently added a “daily quiz” feature that is essentially a low stakes lunchtime poll for you”
