Let the movers pack for you

I did this for the first time on my fifth move in 12 years. this is an if you can afford it thing, for sure, but it’s also not nearly as expensive as you’d imagine, depending on size of your place. You can also have them do certain rooms and not others. Having them pack the kitchen for example, is huge. Have them come the day before the actual move. You still have to organize everything for them, so you kind of end up “pre-packing” in a sense, but that is plenty to exhaust you and then they do the hard physical part. Well worth the money if you can find a company you can trust—-and if you’re moving far, definitely buy your own insurance for your stuff.
