Collect rocks as souvenirs

Grab a rock on your next trip (off the beach, the side of the road, whatever), then write down the place and the year you got it. When you get home, put it in a bowl with your other rocks. It's a free, aesthetically pleasing souvenir that's fun to look through + a conversation starter.
