Control (2007), directed by Anton Corbijn

Arguably one of the best (if not the best) music biopics. Control does an excellent job of portraying Joy Division as a band, and Ian Curtis as both a frontman and young man, without overly sensationalizing. Plus, the black and white color scheme is exactly in line with Joy Division’s world building aesthetics.
