Travelpro Platinum Elite 25" check in suitcase

Ok, this was a wirecutter rec, but one worth repeating. By FAR the most I've ever spent on a suitcase, but absolutely the best one I've ever had and I truly believe it will outlast the fleet of hard shells we've picked up over the years, most of which have been damaged by airlines at least once. Fits a ton. Easier to pack than a clamshell design. The quality feels nice to both pack and move through an airport with!

Worth a specific mention: it's also somehow actually lighter than comparible hard shells.
