My friend and I, we’ve both lost our dads, text each other “winks” we see on special days-birthdays, death days, etc. We look out for little things that remind us of our dads throughout the day and text each other about them. “Just got a good wink - a hummingbird flew by my window”

Our friend decided whenever she seeds a ladybug that’s her dad saying hi, so we always text her when we see one. Or if a good parking spot opens up in a crowded parking lot we text her and say, “Thanks Rick!” because her dad always had good luck in that specific situation.
