not being precious

i decided maybe 5 years ago to stop being precious about everything. accepting that clothes will get stained, favorite objects will break, my hair will get messed up, etc. has removed so much unnecessary stress over little things in my life. for so long i never jumped in the pool! never wanted to roll down the windows in the car! never ever ever wore white! now if a dress is dry clean only, i simply won’t buy it. it doesn’t match my lifestyle and that’s ok! i try not to care more about the inco...
