Homemade pancake batter just doesn’t always work at altitude, but guess what hits a home run every single time: KRUSTEAZ. I love being a snob about ingredients but when it comes to pancakes I’m a die-hard Krusteaz apologist-evangelist. Just add water and a piping-hot griddle, and receive from the breakfast gods a bounty of golden, puffy, crispy-on-the-outside, pillowy-on-the-inside, never-cakey pancakes every damn time.

I get but... the paranoid health person in me stays away because it has aluminum in the baking powder. Well, the FDA says this is food safe, it is banned in Europe because it acts as a neurotoxin. Maybe that's why it works so well at high altitudes 😆
Truth! I just visited a friend who made these, and I made them show me the box so I could purchase them for myself. As far as boxed mixes go, this one is the absolute best!
