smart light bulbs (and setting schedules on them)

I recently got some of these and they have been such a game changer for my mood at home. The sun is coming up later and later, and setting before I’m even home from work. I put these in my lamps in my home, and set them to a routine that mimics early morning sunlight around the time that my alarm goes off. It gradually turns on so it feels like waking up to the sun. In the evening, I set them to a dimmer warm light that signals the day coming to a close, even though it’s been dark for hours already. The happy lights are out of my price range but these have been a great replacement.

As someone who is wary of the whole smartification of everything, these just work like an on/off switch which feels less spooky ai to me.
