a spoonfull of fresh rice

rice just finished cooking. The rest of your food isn’t even ready but you go for a piping hot spoonful. Throw some flaky salt on top.

Have you ever read Butter by Asako Yuzuki? She describes a bite of rice with butter and soy sauce that I can’t stop thinking about

YES!!! My love for rice and butter was reignited after reading! I am also determined to no longer eat sub par butter (work in progress)
