Every season of this show feed is great- for the first four seasons it’s Lost Hills, about the darkness that dwells behind the sunny sheen of Malibu. Then it’s Valley of Shadows, which focuses on the disappearance of an LA sheriff’s deputy.

Then, season 6: The Backfire Effect, a totally oddball funny sad tender twisty wrongful accusation story, hosted brilliantly by my pal Josie Duffy Rice (she used to be a lawyer and she’s very smart!)
