Iris&Romeo Power Peptide Lip Balm

For someone who gets makeup put on their face by seasoned professionals 10-60 times a year, I have no skills and even less interest.

Waking up and doing the bare minimum to survive is hard enough, and once you’re in the day you can just avoid mirrors!

But Iris & Romeo lives in this nice middle ground between essential (it’s sunscreen!) and vanity. It feels like makeup for people who are busy and possibly have a complex relationship to executive functioning.

When I was a tween I was briefly into cosmetics (because a CVS blush is what you can afford on 5 dollar a week allowance AND I wanted to be loved!) and my favorite lipstick was a sheer orange that made it look like you’d glugged an orange soda- this is that messy, cherry popsicle, smear without consequences energy!
