Belgium is the sleeper hit of Western Europe. No tourists. Very friendly and easy - especially w kids. Incredible architecture and vibes. AND THE CHOCOLATE IS THE TRIP.

We stayed in Antwerp for a week and found it was a great base for day trips to Ghent, Leuven, and Brussels not to mention Antwerp itself which has lots of cool neighborhoods and sights.
