Mountainside Jungle Eco-Fort in Canovanas, Puerto Rico

This brand-spanking-new little off-the-grid spot is perched on the side of a mountain in the middle of the rainforest; your only neighbors are a hydroponic lettuce farm and 40 zillion coquís. The lodging itself is basically a futuristic tiny house, but you're renting it for the massive deck with views all the way down to the coast, and the Hot Tub of Secrets perched on said deck with a big old telescope for stargazing, and the private pool on the hillside below. I was there this May and adored everything about it. I saw two (2) golden mongooses on that trip and zero (0) chupacabras - Canovanas is where their legend originated - but there's always next time.
