Over the past 40+ years I have purchased hundreds of books at the Clement St. location (the sparkly new one on the other side of the park is nice, but come on), spent weeks of my life wandering the shelves and shopping the tables, and pointed friends, strangers, and enemies in its direction. All without any bookseller ever greet”

“Favorite in the city, a blend of new and used books. Lots of author events and good vibes for sitting and reading. On Sunday you can catch the Clement street farmers market, lots of bakeries, buns, dumplings, and snacks. Get a coffee at nearby HI NRG and read your books.”
