Listen, I LOVE to cook but I can't be bothered with baking. As someone with a voracious sweet tooth, these have been my go-to chocolate chip cookies for years. They are so easy to make and you will never catch me demonizing (cane) sugar but as I live in Vermont, I love that these are made with maple syrup. I'm on the first day of my cycle and tonight's dinner is (an edible) homemade chicken soup, sourdough with butter and probably 3 of these cookies.
