Patrick Miller: The best nightclub in the world. The only nightclub I'd unequivocally recommend to everyone. Young, old, goth kids, parents etc all dancing together. The most wondrously affirming place I've ever been. You will take part in a line dance and it will be incredible.

cárcamo de dolores: A quiet corner of Chapultepec, this building has a giant and weird (in a good way) Diego Rivera sculpture outside and is covered with Rivera murals in the inside. A former hydraulic water system was housed in the building and you can still hear the water flowing below through eerie and magical organ pipes in the building.

UNAM/Ciudad Universitaria: The huge public university’s campus in the south of the city and a UNESCO world heritage site. Home to some phenomenal modernist architecture and murals from the likes of Diego Rivera and Juan O’Gorman, it also has a very cool contemporary art museum (MUAC), a brutalist sculpture garden (near MUAC), a botanic garden, and plenty more to explore. It's MASSIVE, so I would take an uber or cab there, even though you can take the subway, but it's a bit of a schlepp from the closest stop.

Taller Experimental de Cerámica: after you go to the Museo Casa Kahlo, visit this cool workshop around the corner which features the work of ceramic artists and students. the selection is huge and the prices are great. i got the beaut pictured above.
