Voodoo (D'Angelo)

I’d be remiss to not mention this masterpiece of an album. This project by D’Angelo consists of the LITERAL Avengers.

Raphael Saadiq, Pino Palladino, QuestLove, Roy Hargrove and so many other amazing musicians are featured on this record. Spanish Joint, one of the tracks off this album, features Charlie Hunter, a stellar custom hybrid guitar player who plays a guitar/bass combo (a guitar & bass on a single instrument) — Charlie plays both the guitar and bass simultaneously on this song (CRAZY RIGHT?!?).

Some highlights include: The Line, Send it On, The Root, and Spanish joint
