HOPPER & BURR
Recommended by orlando*Hopper & Burr is the brainchild of the innovative founder Truman Severson who I first saw on a documentary titled Barista (click for the trailer). One of their left field beverages I tried was the NICO N°3 (click hyperlink for the whole story on their Instagram page) — a drink that was a solution to a problem Truman identified in his shop located in the downtown Artists Village of Santa Ana, CA.
At first glance, the beverage reads as a cocktail but what it contains is:
filtered coffee
cinnamon syrup
acidulated orange juice
whole milk, which is allowed to curdle, then is strained/filtered out
Totally wigged me out, blew my mind and literally left my jaw on the floor.
