this is a gel hat you can put in the freezer and wear when you have a headache. when I was pregnant I wore this thing every day. it is heaven. Least sexy item I own but the relief is instantaneous

There are other cooling eye masks that look like superhero masks (with the eyes cutout) that may be useful to wear as you write the paper because you can still see out of it”
