What are your favorite under layers for winter? I am outside for an hour each day (preschool teacher!) and even inside, I get chilled to my bones and need extra layers.

Kari Traa Smekker Top: This base layer has a friendly Nordic pattern (possibly a plus for a teacher), breathable merino wool (not itchy), and the half-zip makes it easy to adjust when you warm up. I use it for skiing, but it is an all-around versatile layer for layering.

Uniqlo Heattech: Obsessed with these thin turtlenecks - so soft and warm. Vetted through 6am winter dog walks in Colorado. The fleece-lined sweatpants also slap.
