What are your favorite under layers for winter? I am outside for an hour each day (preschool teacher!) and even inside, I get chilled to my bones and need extra layers. *obviously I am disassociating in the relentless 95 degree heat right now and just planning ahead

This base layer has a friendly Nordic pattern (possibly a plus for a teacher), breathable merino wool (not itchy), and the half-zip makes it easy to adjust when you warm up. I use it for skiing, but it is an all-around versatile layer for layering.
