My form of insomnia is not being able to fall asleep. No though experiment has ever worked for me until now. My brilliant spouse assigned me to write a play based on our two cats: Minky and googie inspired by the count of monte christo and by GOD does it work. My decision paralysis combined with falling asleep relatively quickly once I focus on it means it took me weeks until something happened other than Googie entering stage left in a ruff and hunter green and black medieval style suit with her sword drawn towards the audience. Shes the count.
I never got to what could happen on stage so then my focus turned to a couple in a box where the wife GASP finds her husband getting blown by one of their attendants. It turns out it’s actually gilded age New York and now I still have to decide what happens next. Does she go home? Sit down like nothing is wrong? Walk around the theater and meet a handsome young man to sooth her worries? Idk!! This is about a year of work though so it’s probably time to decide.
