Fresh out of the shower, hair still sopping wet, it’s time to detangle. This will be the only time I brush my hair until my next shower.
I picked this brush up in Paris last year, and haven’t looked back. It sort of hurts… but in a weirdly satisfying way that makes me feel like I’m giving my hair some tough love. If that sounds unpleasant to you, use a wide-toothed comb! The most important thing is that we’re only detangling when the hair is WET. After brushing, I part my hair before moving onto step 5.

“A hairbrush that can turn your hair around with two swipes- gives it shine, volume, and tames the flyaways. I recommend taking the quiz to figure out which one is best for your hair type!”

“I wasn’t sold on the boar hair bristle brush craze but found myself inside a La Bonne Brosse in Paris and bought a travel-sized brush. It’s a hefty price tag for sure, but I have noticed a difference in my hair — it’s much healthier and actually looks good when I brush it after getting out of bed in the morning (a task that normally would have required a full hair-wetting shower).”

“Très chic! This probably won’t make it into my work bag because I think it’s going to look so good on my dresser… oops!”
