I've never made anything like it (I'm more of a fruit-based pie girl) but Deb has never steered me wrong!

It's pretty easy; the only tricky part for me is avoiding the crust slumping (I work around this by making extra crust, blind-baking w/an overhang, then cutting it off, a la The Great British Baking Show).
