Vaseline

There’s one answer and one answer only: Vaseline. Last fall, I developed an allergy to my formerly reliable beeswax chapstick, leading me to struggle with perpetually dry & chapped lips. At some point, the beeswax chapstick caused an allergic reaction, with my lips swelling up so dramatically that they looked like wax candy lips; I had to go to urgent care to get a shot in my ass. After that day, I swore I’d only ever use Vaseline. Haven’t looked back.
