The Correspondent (Virginia Evans)

I was skeptical about the format of this book - it’s written in the form of letters - but it absolutely lived up to the hype for me. It inspired me to rethink my approach to things like Christmas cards and thank you notes, which I always find to be chores. A really beautiful ode to the written word!
