DC Fontana, La Contessa (2011)

I don’t know a thing about this band, but goddamn, this album is a ripper—pop soul, jazz, a bit of folk and psychedelia thrown in, sung in a mix of French, Italian, and English. Whatever party playlists you may have, this deserves a spot on it. (Or you could probably just start playing this anywhere and wait for a party to form around it.)
