Doves, Constellations for the Lonely
I've only listened to this once so far and would probably need to go back and re-listen to their others to be sure, but my first impression was that this might be their best since The Last Broadcast? (Which is something, given that that was 2002 and they had a decade-long hiatus from 2010 to 2020.)

have you gone back to listen to this @jmd ?
i listened to it and felt shockingly *shrug* but also like maybe i'm missing something and need to try again
I haven't as yet, but I'd say if it got a *shrug*, I'd just move along (or give The Last Broadcast a shot instead). I have a lot of good personal associations with The Last Broadcast as far as where I was in life when it was in regular rotation in my CD player in the early 2000s, so could be that this one was just pushing the right buttons for me!
