The '00s and early '10s were an exciting time in Australian music, especially in Melbourne. So many good bands were releasing great albums, then they'd form a side project and release something special. Such was the case with Boomgates: a short-lived and shockingly good band that featured members of Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Twerps and Dick Diver. This song has such a fun, quicksilver punch to it that really captures the creative energy and straight up good vibes that existed in the city around that time.
