Flip and Stab Your Peanut Butter
Love Teddie PB, but I don’t love when the oil dribbles over the side when I’m mixing it and the jar is then vaguely oily forever (Sensory Defensives unite!). Two recs:
Store the jar upside down so when it separates the oil goes to the top (which is the bottom).
When you mix it start by just stabbing the knife into the middle of the PB. Grip like Norman Bates. Slowly at first. Just stab. Just in the middle. Like you’re using a plunger, but yummy. With a little patience this will work the oil in. Once there’s no more standing oil you are past the danger zone and you can really dig in to the edges and stir for all you’re worth. Really put your back into it until it’s smooth af.
