Homemade Dunkalatte a.k.a. Dunkagänger

Yes, I did, in fact, engrave a pitcher with measurement demarcations so I can easily scale the recipe and make it a half-gallon at a time 🫣

Anyway, we were spending too much on Dunkalattes so I found this recipe online somewhere, which comes very, very close to matching the Dunkin’ version. My wife prefers this one, while I love all god’s children.

Ingredients

• 1 T instant espresso (any, but I use Nescafé)

• 4 oz hot water

• 16 oz milk

• 5 T Autocrat coffee syrup (maybe others work? But I tried Eclipse and it was wrong)

Instructions

1. Add the instant espresso to the hot water and mix.

2. Combine everything, stir well, pour over ice

WARNING: we haven’t saved any money because now we just drink more Dunkagänger than we ever drank Dunkalatte, so financially it’s a wash and diabetes is coming for us faster than ever.
