Chernobyl

For the longest time I had this on my list and didn’t watch it because, like, who wants to watch a show about this?? It’s exactly the sort of thing you know you should watch and then you click around and put on some cotton candy instead (don’t get me wrong, I love me some cotton candy!). But then I finally watched it and sweet mother of god it’s so frickin’ good and riveting and tense and perfectly cast and acted. And there’s also so much I didn’t know about how close we came to a much worse disaster and the absolute heroics that averted it. Plus the depiction of Soviet bureaucracy, the courage of doing the right thing in that environment, one of the best shows ever, don’t sleep on it as long as I did!
