I love a coming of age story, and while this one doesn’t happen in autumn, it’s the exact cozy vibe I needed (especially curled up with my dogs with a cup of tea). Annie is giving BIG coastal granddaughter vibes & the location (feat. a bunch of small, dotted islands) reminds me of the San Juan’s in WA.
About: “After discovering she's inherited a remote island in Canada from the estranged grandfather she was never allowed to meet, 17-year-old Annie Jacobson decides to investigate, pulling her into a world of buried secrets, unexpected sisterhood, and the complicated family history she was never meant to find.”

“I am boots on the ground for this show. sending texts off to friends and my sisters. call all the girls, gays and boyfriends of bisexual women. I’ve been waiting to rec on here until I’ve finished the series but I’m drawing it out for as long as possible because it’s been a fucking MINUTE since I’ve enjoyed a tv show like this, so I’m trying to take it slow and not binge it all at once. but here I”

“the angsty teenage girl still living inside me has been lapping this shit up... it's kind of the same vibe as The Summer I Turned Pretty but more mystery & more queer... basically, hot rich people uncovering dysfunctional family secrets”

“Bad on Paper recommended this show and it is not disappointing. Soapy teen dramas have not been my bag since Dawson’s Creek but this one takes place on a lake in Canada, has great ‘fits and interiors, and a nice balance of humor and cliff hangers. It’s just also a cozy show with multiple Laufey songs and the first show I’ve wanted to binge since Widow’s Bay!”
