Booking normal hotels

The clean and good ones, the more normal the better. Don't over think it: an ideal place to rest your head on a cross-country road trip, or after a day of hiking, or an overnight for a pal’s wedding. Free WiFi, a newspaper at your door upon request—they have like two people working an overnight shift—and the lobby is so so bright. The breakfast spread is dependable at 6:45am, the towels are medium thread count, the sheets are crisp, and the TVs are not smart.

I love all of this, ha ha. Especially for a quick stay, I do go with the trusted chains.

Yes! Just did a cross country trip with three cats and stayed in all Marriotts with great success, all were reliable and comfortable.
